Quick start
1. Install
- Windows: double-click
CPE-AutoTestTool-Setup-<version>.exe. Installation takes a few seconds and needs no administrator rights; a “CPE Auto Test Tool” icon appears on the desktop.
macOS: double-clickCPE-AutoTestTool-<version>-macOS.dmg, drag “CPE自动测试工具” into the Applications folder, then open it from Launchpad or Applications (Google Chrome, or Edge / Brave, must be installed). - If Windows shows “unrecognized publisher”, click More info → Run anyway; the Mac version is signed and notarized and shows no such warning.
- The download page lists a SHA-256 value you can use to verify the installer.
2. First launch: accept the terms and activate
- Read the terms (scroll to the end and tick “I have read and agree” before Agree & continue becomes available).
- Enter your license code (you can paste the whole code; it is case-insensitive) and click Activate. A code can be activated once and is bound to this PC; you don't need to activate again.
3. Connect and test
- Connect the CPE to the PC with a cable and click Connect. Model, IP, firmware and live signal appear once connected.
- In Test settings choose the network mode (4G / SA / NSA) and fill in title, place and notes if you like.
- Pick an angle and click Start; turn on auto-rotate to run through all four angles.
- When the test unit is done, plug in the reference unit, select its card, connect and repeat the same steps.
4. Build the report
- In the Report area of the left sidebar click Generate report to get Excel and PDF files; a detailed report can be exported too. Click a file name to open it.
Three things before you test
- Test over a wired adapter: let the PC go online only through that cable (turn Wi-Fi off) and close bandwidth-heavy programs for stable results.
- Use the same test server for both units: keep the default “Auto” — the server is pinned after the first test.
- Closing the window quits the app: don't close it while a test or report is running.

Where data is stored
One folder per test, containing the test data and generated reports. Windows: %LOCALAPPDATA%\CPEAutoTest\data\runs\; macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/CPEAutoTest/data/runs/.
